Dance offers a unique language through which to tell the individual and collective stories that are inscribed in our bodies. This group exhibition focuses on the social and political dimensions of dance, which reflects societal conditions yet simultaneously makes them negotiable by opening up a space for critique, resistance, and transformation. The artworks revolve around the visibility of marginalized voices, body politics, power relations, belonging, and community. In the exhibition, dance can be experienced from multiple perspectives—translated into media such as painting or video and as performance within the museum space.
