Meisterschüler:innen der HfK Bremen
Since 2007, graduates of the University of the Arts Bremen have been concluding their studies with a unique format: a group exhibition in a museum setting. The institutions that host this presentation on a rotating basis include the GAK, the Gerhard Marcks Haus, the Kunsthalle Bremen, the Künstler:innenhaus, the Museen Böttcherstraße, the Städtische Galerien in Delmenhorst and Bremen, and the Weserburg. This exhibition is made possible and supported by the Karin and Uwe Hollweg Foundation. During the course of the exhibition, a jury composed of the directors of the participating venues decides on the awarding of the Karin Hollweg Prize. Each year, the group exhibition features an impressive variety of artistic practices and, without exception, new works. It encompasses the full range of media in contemporary art and addresses central themes of our time. In 2026, Haus Coburg will be the host institution. The exhibition will take place at two locations: Villa Coburg and the Machine Hall of the Industrial Museum.
